Can AA Flagship 1st use the Cathay Lounge without any other status?

I had a business class flight on Finnair Bangkok to Sydney. Those seats on a 9 hour flight are nothing short of murderous. You can’t recline the seat! I was talking to one of the flight attendants toward the end of the flight and I told her the seats were shocking. She agreed! Never again Finnair!

This is one of the best airline reviews ive ever seen in my life and the swiss first product looks lovely, i think someone was slightly tipsy prior to boarding btw🤣🤣🤣

While Oneworld treats its Emerald members with First Class Lounge Access, some Star Alliance Carriers such a Lufthansa and perhaps even SWISS and Austrian have what is called the Senator Lounge which is a step above their Business Class lounges which non-status Business Class passengers use.

Can you do Starlux First Class from TPE to LAX?

I agree with you Ken on their marketing efforts eg the spider man collaboration etc it makes the luxury less luxury or maybe keep it to economy but not business class...I enjoyed both starlux economy and premium economy form sin to TPE on their a330neo and a350 but have yet to try their a321 neo esp on business class❤

They have already started upgrading the 767 300. The entire 767 400 fleet has been upgraded to the new D1 seats.

I have flown that flight in economy. Total nightmare! They treat you like cattle if you aren’t in 1st class!

What I don’t understand is you’re not showing a true business class travel experience, why are you in a first class lounge.

Actually changing the breakfast is because of our DM request to change. It is a good change and because if you are DM and fly a lot in long haul flight and you did not expect to have a 2 hours breakfast procedure. I think because of you are very young of a DM and you cannot experience the real DM flying a lot in long haul every month and their experience. A young DM or DM which is mile run will expected a very special DM beneift and expected your experience is better than other. But for a DM which always fly because of business need and they expected to have a good reset for the flight in order to work on arrival

How much money you spend on this flight?

Although I choose Cathay business every time I travel between HKG and JFK, I have to say that their service is really average and I feel like every flight attendant was kind of like forced to go to work lol😂 Less friendly than other 5 star Asian airlines

Cathay uses “late night departures “ as an excuse to serve “light” meal! As an airline food critic I think Cathay’s offering is cheap and unacceptable. Too obvious just an excuse to save money. Listen Cathay’s CEO (I do have a problem with this guy!): it may be a late night flight but to go with a full meal or a light meal or not is MY choice- you don’t decide for me so you should offer that choice! And my god pork chop for dinner when you are paying $70k(?) for this seat? Come on Cathay you can do better!! As I travel now mostly for leisure my top airlines are: Singapore, Japan n the 3 Middle East ones.

The bubbles are oh so important both in the lounge and on board, love that Brietling watch btw my partner just bought me a Tag Heuer Carrera with the green face aswell its amazing, great vid as always

Agreed with you about service and food, BA and QR both provide better in J now imo - better food, and served as individual courses.

Love it Ken and for the A350-900/-1000 they are way better than the old A340-600 which used to do New York to Hong Kong nonstop. CX844 returns to HKG as CX841 the 10am departure my mother did it on November 29th 2022
